My Pantera Travels

As I travel around the country I like to meet other Pantera owners and exchange Pantera ideas.  This page is dedicated to the great Pantera owners that I have met in my travels who have not only taken time to talk Panteras, but have also also extended their hospitality to me.

The Seattle Panteras, February 26, 2000

I had an opportunity to meet with Pantera owners, Matt Wells, Dave Goodwin and Forest Goodhart in Seattle. Forest is from California but is working on a project in Seattle so he joined us at Matt’s house.

Matt Wells lives in Everett (North of Seattle) and has a 1972 pre L Pantera. When we arrived at Matt’s house he was in the process of upgrading the cooling system to a lay-down radiator, new cooling tubes and hoses. Matt’s car is a really fine example of a Pantera that has spent its life in the mild Northwest weather.

Forest Goodhart has an awesome 1972 Pantera with a 399 CI Cleveland with fuel injection and twin superchargers.

Dave Goodwin lives in Everett and has a 1973 Euro GTS. As the story goes, the original Navy owner brought it to the US on an aircraft carrier. When Dave found the car it was in Oklahoma City but had Alabama tags. Dave is working on upgrades for the car and over time plans a complete restoration. So far Dave has installed a new radiator, intake and carb setup. Dave is trying to trace the history of the car and you can contact him at GOODWINPANTERA@aol.com

We all had a great time talking Pantera stuff and exchanging Pantera tech tips.
