Some of the people making deals at the San Diego Swap Meet. Virtually anything can be found, from valve covers and go-fast stuff, to books and models.
Here, the hosts BBQ lunch, with a donation going to the San Diego Pantera Club. Unfortunately, I had to leave around 3 pm, and buyers and sellers were still arriving!
Wearing an "Honest Grin", this parts trader waits for the next offer on any of his "new-in-the-bag" de tomaso parts.
Many unusual things can be found for sale. Here, a Factory GT4 race car arrives.
Cars of the famous and infamous are seen at this event.
This car just arrived for show, I don’t believe it was for sale, although buyers were seen nosing around it all day. The engine and bay show great attention to detail.
One example of a decent deal is this engine. You had to be up real early to get this one. Bob Harrington’s $50 was out so fast, I didn’t even see it!
The Famous Foster-Hohnhorst Factory GT4, at home.
Along Pantera Way, at de Tomaso Lane, a set of wheels waits for an offer.
Some people just have to collect things. Here are 3 sets of Webers and manifolds. Racing products still in the bag, and dry sump systems were hot sellers.
